In this sense, <a href="http://mecadelinte.com/">access control</a> is the first line of security we can count on. In Delinte Mecanizados we have focused our activity in the manufacture of <strong>access control cabinets</strong>. In addition to other products such as control room consoles, metal electrical panels and any type of metal structure for sectors as diverse as transportation, environment and energy.<span id="more-52977"></span></p>
<h2>Access control, the first security measure</h2>
<p>We are specialists in the manufacture of access control cabinets that are characterized by their finish and high precision. Our products adapt to any type of company, purpose and size. The purpose of access control systems is none other than to <strong>grant permission</strong> for authorized persons <strong>to enter a building</strong>, office or warehouse.</p>

These cabins are prefabricated in controlled environments. These booths are essential for different types of industry, from those specialized in the environmental and analytical sector to those in the oil sector.</p>
<p><span id="more-52979"></span></p>
<p>A fundamental characteristic that they must have is their resistance. The <a href="http://mecadelinte.com/productos/cabinas-y-shelter/">shelter type cabins</a> are made to measure, according to the needs indicated by our customers. It is important that they <strong>adapt to the climatic conditions of the area</strong> where they will be located. But they must also be able to withstand transportation and be able to house the equipment that needs to be installed in them.</p>
<h2>In stainless or galvanized steel, higher resistance</h2>
<p>Other variables that must be taken into account are that they have the <strong>capacity to dissipate the heat of the equipment,</strong> that they comply with the technical requirements and that they have <strong>safety and control systems</strong>, in addition to allowing energy supply.</p>

<p>In terms of materials, we focus on strength. That is why <strong>we use galvanized steel or stainless steel</strong>. The cabins are insulated with rock wool and internally lined with stainless steel, galvanized steel and then painted or plasticized chipboard. Galvanized steel is characterized by a zinc coating that makes it more resistant to rust, since it protects it from the action of water and humidity.</p>
<p>In addition, <strong>zinc is a metal that is highly resistant to scratches and provides a satin appearance</strong> that makes steel more aesthetically pleasing. Depending on different factors, a piece of industrial galvanized steel with a zinc layer thickness of only one millimeter can last up to 70 years without maintenance. The measurement of this is done through <strong>shelter type cabins</strong>, such as the ones we manufacture in<strong> <a href="http://mecadelinte.com/">Mecanizados Delinte</a></strong>.</p>
<h2><span id="more-52980"></span></h2>
<p>There are more than <strong>600 fixed measuring stations</strong> throughout the country, in addition to several analyzers. The Ministry for Ecological Transition (MITECO), through the State Meteorological Agency, the EMEP/VAG/CAMP network, is also responsible for collecting data to obtain information on transboundary pollution and to comply with Spain&#8217;s obligations under the Geneva Convention on Long-Range Transboundary Air Pollution.</p>
<h2>Located in representative spaces</h2>
<p>The  <strong>emission measurement booths</strong>  are responsible for measuring the concentrations of tropospheric ozone and other  <strong>atmospheric pollutants</strong>  such as sulfur dioxide (SO2), nitrogen oxide (NOx), carbon monoxide (CO), hydrocarbons (BTX) and heavy metal particles that may remain suspended in the air. The purpose of these facilities, in addition to adequate control, is to be able to warn the population so that they can take protective measures.</p>
<p>Emission measurement booths <strong>can be fixed or mobile</strong>. The latter are usually used for temporary campaigns or research work. They can also serve as auxiliary cabins when there is a failure in one of the fixed cabins.</p>

<h2>Characteristics of emission measurement cabinets</h2>
<p>The internal temperature of the station should be maintained between 18 and 20 degrees. This implies the need for an <strong>air conditioning system</strong>. If toxic gases are handled, <a href="http://mecadelinte.com/productos/cabinas-y-shelter/">the cabins</a> must also be equipped with fans or extractors. Analyzers, calibrator, communication equipment etc. should be placed on <strong>shelves or cabinets</strong>.</p>
<p><strong>Sampling</strong> equipment should be fixed to the wall with metal fittings. The cab must also have space for a <strong>shelf or desk for the operator to work at</strong>. If explosive gases are to be handled, the corresponding safety measures must be taken. In any case, you must always have a fire extinguisher.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The different heat treatments that can be given to metals allow their characteristics to be modified. They are treatments of great importance in the different stages of manufacturing in the machining industry. At <a href="http://mecadelinte.com/">Mecanizados Delinte</a> we use the tempering technique when shaping products such as <strong>swas frames</strong>, motor center cabinets, etc.</p>
<p><span id="more-52981"></span></p>
<p>There are different <strong>types of heat treatments</strong> depending on the objective to be achieved and the reactions that are achieved are obviously also different. This type of treatment hardens or softens a product, modifies its structure or changes some of its characteristics so that the final result meets our needs.</p>
<p>The different heat treatments include carburizing, nitriding, tempering, carbonitriding, annealing, normalizing, isothermal annealing and quenching.</p>
<h2>Tempering, the main treatment in the industry</h2>
<p>Tempering is one of the <strong>most widely used heat treatments</strong> in the machining field. Basically, it consists of <strong>heating a material</strong>, usually steel, above its transformation point. We are talking about temperatures that may well exceed 800 or 900 degrees Celsius, <strong>and cool it quickly</strong> in water or oil. The purpose of this whole process is to obtain a much more resistant piece, in which its degree of fragility is reduced.</p>
<p>The tempering process seeks to achieve a balance between hardness and strength in the product.</p>
<p>Although it may seem strange, <strong>the use of tempered steel has been used for centuries</strong>. Already in feudal Japan, blacksmiths were in charge of making katanas, swords and other weapons with this material. To do this they smeared clay on specific parts of a steel blade and heated it in a forge, then cooled the blade in water.</p>
<p>Obviously today&#8217;s work processes have evolved, but at the core, the objective and principles remain the same.</p>
<p>Of course, steel is not the only metal that can be tempered, but it is one of the metals that offers the most possibilities, since by doing so, <strong>very attractive qualities</strong> can be achieved. For example, it is made to have a higher degree of hardness, to be less fragile, to withstand greater forces, to relieve stresses, etc.</p>

<h2>How and why steel is hardened</h2>
<p>To harden it, the steel must be heated to a temperature that exceeds its transformation point, which is called the <strong>quenching temperature</strong>. In this way it is possible to vary its structure, obtaining a crystalline structure that is ideal for rapid cooling of the piece. The cooling must be carried out in a certain way that will vary according to the composition of the steel in order to obtain the desired equilibrium.</p>
<p>To obtain different types of hardening <strong>, other elements</strong> such as carbon, nitrogen, cyanides or other compounds <strong>can be added</strong>.</p>
<p>The process of heating steel is called <strong>austenitization</strong>. What is achieved by heating it is to accommodate much more carbon in its structure, forming austenite, which is nothing more than a certain arrangement of iron and carbon atoms. Upon rapid cooling, <strong>martensite</strong> is formed, i.e., a crystal that gives the steel its maximum possible strength.</p>
<p>A complete part, including its core, can be hardened. Or only its external surface can be hardened, giving the core a different degree of hardness and flexibility.</p>
<p>In short, <strong>steel tempering</strong> provides this material with the properties we need to be able to manufacture parts that are resistant and suitable for the work for which they are intended, such as <a title="Swas racks" href="http://mecadelinte.com/productos/bastidores-swas/">swas frames</a>.</p>

We work with booths of our own design that we apply mainly to the environmental and analytical sectors. Numerous companies, such as Repsol, BP, Cepsa, Exxon Mobile, Lukoil, Técnicas Reunidas or PEMEX, have highly valued our efforts and the quality of our work over the past 30 years.<span id="more-52986"></span></p>
<h2>What are the shelter cabins like?</h2>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Shelter is an English word that could be translated into Spanish as &#8220;refugio&#8221;. Shelter would be a <strong>structure that has the function of protecting from the weather</strong>. The term is also used in the <a href="http://mecadelinte.com/productos/cabinas-y-shelter/">sense of container</a>, since it is responsible for housing and protecting the equipment that is collected inside it.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The usefulness of shelter cabins extends to virtually <strong>all areas of production</strong>. Depending on the use to which they are going to be put, the cabins will have a series of needs that we adapt at the time of manufacturing. In terms of sizes we move in dimensions ranging from 2000x1500x2500 (WxDxH) mm to 14000x2800x2700 (WxDxH) mm.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">An example of how are the cabins that we manufacture in Delinte can be found in <strong>air quality measurement cabins</strong>, which are distributed throughout the Spanish geography and also in many points outside our country. <h2>Materials to create the shelter cabins</h2>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In order to fulfill their function, <a href="http://mecadelinte.com/que-es-una-cabina-tipo-shelter/">shelter cabins</a> must be sufficiently <strong>resistant and robust</strong> to be able to withstand both weather conditions and possible acts of vandalism. In this sense, at Delinte we work with the <strong>best high quality materials </strong>from European Union countries. We also use thermal insulators from leading manufacturers that guarantee the required specifications. We have our own manufacturing and assembly method that favors a robust construction.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Depending on the case, we use <strong>galvanized steel or stainless steel</strong> for their construction. Galvanized steel is steel that undergoes a hot-dip process with molten zinc. This generates a zinc layer on the surface that prevents oxidation. Stainless steel, on the other hand, has a manufacturing process by which, through a series of transformations, the raw materials are melted until the desired thickness and diameter of the parts are obtained. It is a corrosion-resistant material by a unique process that, in a simplified form, causes chromium oxide molecules to immediately restore any scratches to the metal.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Our cabins <strong>are insulated with rock wool</strong>. It is a mineral-type insulation that uses two raw materials: basaltic rocks, which are of volcanic origin, and coke ore, which comes from coal. The main advantage of this material is its fireproof character. In addition, it is an excellent acoustic and thermal insulator.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The shelter cabins have a <strong>painted finish and are always adapted to the environmental and seismic conditions</strong> of the areas where they are to be installed. Of course, its construction and dimensions are adjusted to the needs expressed by the customer, depending on the equipment that needs to be housed inside. <p style="text-align: justify;">Among the metallic transformations that we manufacture for the electrical sector, <strong>cabinets and metallic panels</strong> stand out. In this case we fully adapt to the customer&#8217;s requests. We manufacture from electrical cabinets that must be outdoors to medium and high voltage switchgear, including motor center cabinets, 19&#8243; rack cabinets in steel or galvanized sheet metal and giving them a painted finish if required by the customer. <p style="text-align: justify;">For the analytical sector we manufacture racks, either UPN or tube racks, in stainless steel or carbon steel. It is especially important in equipment such as <strong>metal electrical cabinets</strong>. For this reason, all European Union countries follow regulations for components or equipment that may be used in potentially explosive atmospheres or environments. <p>The regulation affects<strong> ATEX enclosures</strong> individually, but not only. The detailed guidelines result in the evaluation of all components as well. This is because of the seriousness of an explosion in the workplace. For this reason, special care is taken to ensure that they do not come into contact with particularly susceptible substances or materials.</p>
<h2>Possibility of explosion</h2>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Explosive atmospheres are defined as those in which there is a mixture of flammable substances in the form of gases, vapors or dusts in the air. Under these conditions, <strong>when ignition</strong> of these substances occurs, the total propagation of combustion is triggered. They are present in a large number of industries, from agriculture and livestock to timber and chemicals, to give just a few examples.</p>
<p>For an explosion to occur, several conditions must be met simultaneously, such as the mixture of combustible substances with the oxygen present in the air in the precise proportion that creates an explosive atmosphere and that this is in contact with a source of ignition.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">It is clear that in this type of atmosphere it is very important that arcing and sparks that may occur due to failures or perhaps misuse of the instrumentation be avoided.  <strong>separated as far as possible from explosive atmospheres</strong>or minimize their contact to the point of avoiding ignition.</p>

<h2>Protection in ATEX atmospheres</h2>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Directive 2014/34/EU (ATEX 95), which came into force on April 20, 2016, defines the specifications for the equipment and use of electrical and non-electrical equipment in an explosive atmosphere. A classification scheme sets out the essential requirements on safety and health protection for equipment.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">All equipment installed in an ATEX zone must be protected against the risk of explosion. The equipment in these zones, such as the <a href="http://mecadelinte.com/armario-atex/" title="ATEX cabinet">ATEX cabinet</a>, must be <strong>certified by an organization approved</strong> for this purpose in accordance with the aforementioned directive. The certification consists of a specific marking of the product category and the area and atmosphere in which it can be used.</p>

<h2>What is GRP and what is it used for?</h2>
<p style="text-align: justify;">GRP<strong>(Glass Reinforced Plastic</strong>) is a composite material, consisting of a plastic or resin matrix reinforced with glass fibers. It is a light, rigid and resistant material that offers a good response to corrosion and wear. It is also useful as an insulator, either acoustic or electrical. The truth is that its properties vary depending on the amount of fiber it contains.</p>

<h2>The use of steel</h2>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">Since the end of the 19th century, the history of electricity and the history of trains have run parallel. <a href="http://mecadelinte.com/como-se-regula-el-trafico-de-manera-remota/">Electricity is a fundamental resource</a>in the development of modern society that we often take for granted. However, the correct obtaining and transformation of this energy depends on whether we have electricity in our homes or the operation of <strong>one of the most used means of transport for passengers and goods</strong>, such as the railroad.<span id="more-52995"></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">We could say that the first electric train was the one designed by <strong>Werner Von Siemens</strong> in 1879 in Berlin. In Spain, the first electrified line is considered to be the<strong> Gergal- Santa Fe</strong> (Almería) section, which was inaugurated in 1911.</p>
<h2>Electrical circuit of the trains</h2>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The electrical circuit is responsible for <strong>supplying power to the trains</strong>. It consists of a series of installations that are in charge of adapting the electricity and the correct operation of the motors, in addition to ensuring that electricity reaches the train from the installations along its entire length.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Trains demand a high power of electricity, we are talking about voltages ranging from <strong>1500 to 3000 Vdc.</strong> Originally, the trains had their own power plants, but this was expensive and impractical once power plants began to operate close to urban centers. Even so, it is necessary to convert the high voltage energy with the one that needs to be injected to the catenary, for this purpose there are the substations.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">There are two ways for trains to capture electricity, through an <strong>electrified third rail</strong>, a system used in Germany and other parts of the world. Or through an <strong>overhead contact line</strong>, called catenary, the system used in Spain. The train or tramway accesses electricity through the friction of the trolley or pantograph located in the power car. Catenaries can be powered with both direct and alternating current.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Train motors are in charge of <strong>converting electrical energy into</strong> mechanical <strong>traction</strong>, which is, after all, what produces the movement of the railroad. The motors and the equipment that make their operation possible are installed in the power car.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Finally, the <strong>return circuit</strong> is the one that facilitates the return of the energy used by the motors back to the substation.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Of course, the circuit is equipped with a series of safety systems that cut off the electricity supply if any anomaly is detected. The main safety systems are located in the<strong> substations</strong>, which automatically check for problems up to three times. If confirmed, power is suspended until the maintenance team fixes the error.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Extra-fast circuit breakers</strong> are the safety system installed on the train itself. In this case, it is up to the driver to reset them if they jump. Of course, lightning conductors are installed along the substations and the catenary.</p>
