In this sense, <a href="http://mecadelinte.com/">access control</a> is the first line of security we can count on. In Delinte Mecanizados we have focused our activity in the manufacture of <strong>access control cabinets</strong>. <h2>Access control, the first security measure</h2>
<p>We are specialists in the manufacture of access control cabinets that are characterized by their finish and high precision. Our products adapt to any type of company, purpose and size. <h2>Our metal transformations</h2>
<p style="text-align: justify;">One of our most demanded products are <strong>ATEX and pressurized cabinets</strong> for analyzers. We are experts in the manufacture of cabinets in galvanized sheet metal, which offers optimum resistance to corrosion, and also in stainless steel for the analysis of liquids and gases in ATEX zones.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">We always keep in mind that safety is one of the most important aspects in this type of products. It is essential to protect not only the equipment, but also the people who operate it. <p style="text-align: justify;">Among the metallic transformations that we manufacture for the electrical sector, <strong>cabinets and metallic panels</strong> stand out. In this case we fully adapt to the customer&#8217;s requests. We manufacture from electrical cabinets that must be outdoors to medium and high voltage switchgear, including motor center cabinets, 19&#8243; rack cabinets in steel or galvanized sheet metal and giving them a painted finish if required by the customer. We comply with IP or NEMA standards.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">For the analytical sector we manufacture racks, either UPN or tube racks, in stainless steel or carbon steel. And we offer the option for the customer to customize them to their liking or to adapt the mounting plate to their needs, for example by adding or not a basin to analyze liquids.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Metal transformations for <strong>the traffic and transport sector</strong> are another of our hallmarks. We are a reference in the construction of cabinets for road signaling. Whether they are cabinets for traffic light control, road video surveillance, SOS stations, traffic control, etc. In recent years we have also specialized in cabinets for the management and control of Smart Cities.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The <strong>train cabinets and racks</strong> that are installed inside these vehicles manufactured by Delinte comply with the UNE-15085-CL2 standard. Whether the job is to create a <strong>metal electrical cabinet</strong> or control room consoles, welding is a basic technique. There are a multitude of styles and techniques that we can employ. So that you know a little more about them today we wanted to focus on two of them: TIG welding and MIG welding.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Both TIG and MIG are acronyms. MIG stands for Metal Inert Gas, while TIG stands for Tungsten Inert Gas. Let&#8217;s take a closer look at what each of them consists of.</p>
<h2>TIG welding</h2>
<p style="text-align: justify;">It is one of the types of welding that is becoming widespread today, especially in stainless steels, because although it is more expensive, it offers better finishes. One of its advantages is that <strong>this process is very clean</strong>, leaving hardly any residue on the base metal.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">But the great advantage of TIG welding is that it allows <strong>very precise temperature control</strong>, which is ideal for penetrating thick steels and for jobs requiring a high level of precision.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The finishes obtained with this system are very strong, precise and corrosion resistant. In addition, they are homogeneous and allow a completely smooth result to be obtained. TIG welding also offers the option of using a filler metal or not.</p>

<h2>MIG welding</h2>
<p style="text-align: justify;">MIG welding is also known as <strong>gas and metal arc welding</strong>. The arc is formed from a continuous wire electrode and the parts to be joined, and is protected from the surrounding atmosphere by an inert gas.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">MIG welding offers a number of advantages among which we can highlight that it allows welding in all positions. Also perform precision welds from 0.7 to 6 mm without preparing the edges and offering very good finishes. It is a process that <strong>offers high productivity</strong> and provides good quality.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In Europe, the gas most commonly used in this type of welding is argon. In the United States, on the other hand, helium is the most widely used. When welding steel, argon must be mixed with oxygen, since quantities greater than 5% of pure argon produce bites.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Three different MIG welding processes</strong> can be distinguished. Semi-automatic is the most common. Here the welder sets parameters such as voltage and current, which are then automatically maintained by the equipment as the welder drags the gun. Then there are the automatic and robotized processes. The latter is mainly used on an industrial scale.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Delinte&#8217;s workers are experts in precision TIG and MIG welding and are qualified to weld carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum from 1 to 9 mm thick. It is especially important in equipment such as <strong>metal electrical cabinets</strong>. For this reason, all European Union countries follow regulations for components or equipment that may be used in potentially explosive atmospheres or environments. Today we want to focus on the one that affects one of them: <a href="http://mecadelinte.com/productos/armarios-atex-y-presurizados/">ATEX cabinets</a>.</p>

<p>The regulation affects<strong> ATEX enclosures</strong> individually, but not only. The detailed guidelines result in the evaluation of all components as well. This is because of the seriousness of an explosion in the workplace. For this reason, special care is taken to ensure that they do not come into contact with particularly susceptible substances or materials.</p>
<h2>Possibility of explosion</h2>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Explosive atmospheres are defined as those in which there is a mixture of flammable substances in the form of gases, vapors or dusts in the air. Under these conditions, <strong>when ignition</strong> of these substances occurs, the total propagation of combustion is triggered. They are present in a large number of industries, from agriculture and livestock to timber and chemicals, to give just a few examples.</p>
<p>For an explosion to occur, several conditions must be met simultaneously, such as the mixture of combustible substances with the oxygen present in the air in the precise proportion that creates an explosive atmosphere and that this is in contact with a source of ignition.</p>

However, the correct obtaining and transformation of this energy depends on whether we have electricity in our homes or the operation of <strong>one of the most used means of transport for passengers and goods</strong>, such as the railroad.<span id="more-52995"></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">We could say that the first electric train was the one designed by <strong>Werner Von Siemens</strong> in 1879 in Berlin. In Spain, the first electrified line is considered to be the<strong> Gergal- Santa Fe</strong> (Almería) section, which was inaugurated in 1911.</p>
<h2>Electrical circuit of the trains</h2>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The electrical circuit is responsible for <strong>supplying power to the trains</strong>. It consists of a series of installations that are in charge of adapting the electricity and the correct operation of the motors, in addition to ensuring that electricity reaches the train from the installations along its entire length.</p>

Even so, it is necessary to convert the high voltage energy with the one that needs to be injected to the catenary, for this purpose there are the substations.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">There are two ways for trains to capture electricity, through an <strong>electrified third rail</strong>, a system used in Germany and other parts of the world. Or through an <strong>overhead contact line</strong>, called catenary, the system used in Spain. The train or tramway accesses electricity through the friction of the trolley or pantograph located in the power car. Catenaries can be powered with both direct and alternating current.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Train motors are in charge of <strong>converting electrical energy into</strong> mechanical <strong>traction</strong>, which is, after all, what produces the movement of the railroad. The motors and the equipment that make their operation possible are installed in the power car.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Finally, the <strong>return circuit</strong> is the one that facilitates the return of the energy used by the motors back to the substation.</p>

It is evident that the process of urban population growth continues to increase, creating new population spaces on the periphery of cities. This brings with it an <strong>increase in the number of trips and</strong> daily commutes, which of course results in higher energy consumption and increased pollution.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">For this reason, almost all major cities have <strong>vehicle counting systems</strong> and some essential elements to <strong>regulate traffic</strong> to try to make it as smooth as possible: traffic lights.</p>
